Package Manager not working on Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012
I have installed the windows XP operating system on mine system and everything on the system working fine without any issue and I have recently installed the Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 game on mine system and I have small issue on mine Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 game. I have bought this game from Railworks 3 Train store and i9 have also bought the add-ons pack as well. I have launched the game but when I tried to use package manager to add new content package manager closes down. Now I don’t know what to do and how to solve this issue, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

Try to run the game on the compatible mode and after that make sure you’re getting the issue or not. To run the game on the compatible mode you need to go through the below steps: first make right click on the game launching exe file and after that select the properties. Now on the properties go to the compatible mode tab and under that make check mark on the run the program on the compatible mode. And after that make select the windows 98 on the drop down button and after that make click on the ok button. Now start the game and after that make sure your getting the issue or not.

Even I have faced the same issue and after that I have followed up the below steps and after that I have solved mine issue. You getting this issue due to the access issue and so therefore I would like to suggest you to make run the game on the Administrator mode and after that your issue will get solved. To run the game on the administrator mode just right click on the launching file and after that select the run as administrator.

How many Add-ons have been installed? There were over 200 packages installed and the manager took a few minutes to load and seemed to hang when I opened it and the cursor only showed the wheel (or sandclock). But after 3-5 minutes, then showed all the packages. So I would like to suggest wait for some time or try to start the game 3 to 5 times and after that you will issue will get solved. I hope this will help you to solve the issue.

Hello thanks for the solution but nothing have been helped me to solve the issue. I have tried the all steps you all given above but nothing have been helped me to solve mine issue. Can anyone give more replies or solution and so that I can solve mine issue.

I think you have installed the steam in wrong way and so therefore you’re getting this issue and so I would like to suggest you to make sure you have installed the game and all other file in proper way and after that let me know the issue. To do this open the stream and after that make right click on the Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 and after that properties. Now on the properties go to the local file tab and under that make click on the verify game cache button. Now steam will verify game cache and after that restart the steam and after that make sure you’re getting the issue.

Try to remove the all Blueprint Cache via the Launcher>Tools & Docs tab and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. Even I have gone through this issue with the Railworks 3 Train Simulator game and after that I have just deleted the blueprint cache and after that I have solved mine issue.

I came to know this issue is due to the Microsoft .Net framework which used in launcher and I think the .Net framework not updated or not installed on your system and so therefore your getting the issue and so I would like to suggest you to make install or updated the .Net framework to 4.0 and after that your issue will get solved. Just make click on the start icon and after that make click on the control panel. Now on the control panel and under that make click on the add/remove program. Now on the add/remove program make sure you have installed the latest version of the .Net framework (4.0) on your system and after that your issue will get solved.

I think you should contact with the support and after that they will solve your issue. Even I have faced the issue and after that I have contacted with the support and after that they have solved mine issue and so I would like to suggest you this.

If above all solution not working and then I would like to suggest you to uninstall game and after that install it again. To uninstall the Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 game you need to go through the below steps: first make click on the start icon and after that make click on the control panel. Now on the control panel make click on the add/remove program and after that locate to the Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 and after that select Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 and after that remove it. Now once you done and after that reboot the system and after that installed the Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 game again and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. I hope this will help you to solve the issue.
