What do you think About Darkness II
This is, of course, the battles that drive the Darkness II. While you have the usual complement of firearms in addition to first-person shooters, you also exercise powers of darkness, which manifest themselves as long arms with snakeheads slice people, and you reach for objects give other mystical powers. The powers of darkness can also be used defensively, like when you tear the Shield of the wicked with his hand or catch an indispensable weapon of the floor. In addition, a ripped the car door and it will serve as a shield. Granted, a very effective - it is better slinging head of your enemy, but when you need a few seconds to regain your health is better than nothing. Weapons of snake can also break some doors and cut the electric son that keep other doors locked. You can even, by moving the right analog stick, whether their slashing is horizontal or vertical, but it is mainly involved in the choice of slice and dice them horizontally or vertically.

While the single player experience is a bit short, the campaign co-op says the story. Play like the other four characters, each with their own weapons and skills infused with darkness, the long stay of two hours is parallel to the campaign. There are also some specific missions of Co-op in which you are responsible ... Someone kill and whoever gets in your way. Two of these modes are endearing, and although it is nothing particularly bad about them - except for the decision is confusing to have different configurations of the campaign button - they feel more like the dishes for the main course of the campaign.

It is made of the same name in the graphic style of comic books. In some ways, similar to the Borderlands, but more realistic. Blood juicy facial animation at a level that the texture is also good; the picture is very pleasing to the eye. And much influence on the atmosphere of a pastiche has strongly positive. About the optimization cannot say anything because computer is fairly powerful, but FPS games of all time never sag below 50. In a static game may look awful, but when you play, everything looks very nice and bright.

Inspired by the comics of the same name, The Darkness II is an action game in first person on Xbox 360. You play as Jackie Estacado, a mafia of 21, which happens to be one of the hosts of Darkness, an evil entity infusing it many powers to enable him to avenge his uncle's death wish. The Darkness II adopts the typical progression of linear FPS staged. We advance straight ahead and will be guided by the narrative with a simple goal. Much straighter forward, this second part focuses more on the violence that still emanates from Jackie and established itself as an action game where the first game needed some care.

Re: What do you think About Darkness II
The Darkness II is a first-person shooter featuring graphics from the cell shading and the use of Darkness as a weapon of offense, which allows spectacular and bloody executions. The Darkness II adopts a more classic style and close to the current standard of FPS. A reversal a little confusing since moving from game to game approach almost "brain" to a title shot almost entirely towards action. Not sure that fans of the first game go there but this gives rise to an extremely soft, however brutal preserved some important key component of original, i.e. not forget that this is primarily a story love diving into horror. Not always very clever and closer to the Hollywood remake of that result.

Re: What do you think About Darkness II
The Gameplay is meant brutal with a result often at the limit of bestiality. We do not really finesse, rather in the slaughter. But in this huge chaos, we must still learn to be careful not to advance too quickly, the light still being able to force the Darkness to shrink, we are often caught in the crossfire of a projector that blinds us and forces us to retreat time to be able to blow the bulb or to find the generator that powers the machine. Moreover, this time, Jackie faces the Brotherhood, a secret organization that knows all of his power and that even shares some attributes. After a few thugs, so they are experts encountered, armed with grenades blinding which they use to excess, even become particularly expansive, magical whips with which they disarm and we are even able to teleport in our nose. The result on screen is, not surprisingly, damn nervous, almost mind-numbing at times and yet we do not really get tired of this wave of violence. However, difficult not to be a bit surprised such a change. Some probably will regret it, even if the game itself is fun.

Re: What do you think About Darkness II
The Darkness 2 differs playfully at first glance not particularly by his predecessor. So again, you take the role of Jackie and shoot you with all kinds of weapons by numerous opponents’ series. That in it would be nothing special, of course, so the Don has once more over the forces of darkness. Just minutes after the start of the game appear on the two dark-arms and Grabby Slushy that you can now use in battle. Interpret the razor sharp teeth of the two arm-heads at it already: With Grabby Slushy and you should not invest as possible. The enemy, however, has not so much brainpower and throw themselves one after the other to certain death. Again, the two tentacles on the right or left shoulder buttons can be controlled. Wherein each of the two arms has different capabilities. Slushy is more the "man" strongman. With it you can on your enemies tears down barricades or hew. Grabby contrast serves to objects themselves to be used. This has several advantages. The objects can be either landscape or hurl at his opponents, or even use as a shield.

Especially after the story events from the first album we were especially curious how the new series continues developer Digital Extremes, the story about Jackie and one can say with a clear conscience: Should we review here only the plot of The Darkness II, would play the shooter from 2K Games without any question in the first division. But unfortunately it is now time not everything. Playfully they made some cuts, by which we mean not only the German version of PSP, but also the strong linear level sections.

Re: What do you think About Darkness II
The Darkness II does much good, but lacks content to step into the level of the first game. Especially the short time of the single player campaign and the modest value of the other game modes raises questions. The game is not necessarily easy, but the enemies behave predictably and are therefore often easy off. This Digital Extremes had more variation may apply. That does not mean that The Darkness II as a whole a very entertaining shooter with a great story that definitely is worthwhile to continue playing.
Pros

+ Darkness powers
+ Freedom of gameplay
+ Strong and compelling story
+ Brotherhood-enemies make battles more challenging
+ Short load times
Cons

- Singleplayer is short
- Does not have to herspeelwaarde
- Vendetta game mode if you play alone
- Enemies are predictable

The Darkess II offers a scripted cooperative mode. Play the role of characters, everything gives with a power of Darkness and will run some tasks linked to the campaign, which will give you an opportunity to meet some of its protagonists. and along with that, which has the merit of being much more relevant than the competitive mode of the first.
