question setting up wireless on my inspiron 531 computer
I Have An Inspiron 531 On Vista And Have Just Received My Sky Internet Box.

But Im Not Sure If I Have My Wireless Switched On Or If Im Able To Have Wireless As Its Not A Laptop?
How Do I Find Out??

In order to access internet wirelessly, you will have a wireless device on the computer. To check if there is a wireless connectivity on the computer, go to device manager and check if there is any wireless adaptor present and installed on the computer. If there is no wireless adapter installed or present on the computer then you can buy a USB wireless adapter and connect it via USB.

To go to the Device Manager follow the steps described below :

Right click on the "My Computer" icon located on the Desktop.
Then select the option Manager.
After selecting the manager, select the Device Manager option.
In Device Manager option you will able to see the drivers and the Hardware peripherals at the right side of the window.
In that you have to check that Wireless Adapter is present or not.

If it is present then you will have to install the appropriate drivers required for that wireless. Otherwise you will have to purchase new USB wireless adapter that can be inserted into your USB and can be used.
