Opera Error "initializing Opera: module 9" in windows 7
I am using acer aspire laptop installed with the windows 7 operating system. I use opera for the purpose of browsing. Yesterday while i was browsing using the opera suddenly failed to start with dialog: "Error initializing Opera: module 9". After that i tried to restart it again and then but the same message appeared again. Help me to solve this problem

The dialog box "Error initializing Opera: module 9" Occurs whenever you try to the opera browser an the opera browser is unable to load this is mostly because of the Language File and Language Files Directory settings are incorrect. So you will have to chsnge the operaprefs_default.ini manually in the C:\Program Files\Opera. when you open this folder you will see the following two lines

Language File=C:\Program Files\Opera\locale\\.lng
Language Files Directory=C:\Program Files\Opera\locale\

Simply edit this two lines as follows

Language File=C:\Program Files\Opera\locale\en\en.lng
Language Files Directory=C:\Program Files\Opera\locale\en

Hello friend i am not able to implement on this problem as you have not mentioned which version of the opera browser you are using. Because the earlier version of the opera browser was having a lot of bugs and those bugs of the opera browser were solved by the evolution of the newer opera version opera 10 so upgrade to it.

In order to fix this problem you will need to check the version of your opera browser. Since it appears as it is not the Opera 10.50 bets which is the latest version released by the antivirus so i would recommend you to update your browser. Because after updating the browser your problem will be solved.

This error arises when the opera browser fails to initialize itself when you try to open the browser and it fails to load. The most probable reason is the Language File and Language Files Directory settings are changed. hence you need to change the language preference of the opera browser. this will definitely fix this issue.

It seems as your opera browser is corrupted and you are getting this problem because of this only so it will be better if you uninstall all the traces of the opera browser which is installed on your system. After the un installation reinstall the browsers latest version from the opera website this will fix your issue for sure.
