For software there are different ways to control the temperature, among many other data. For starters, most motherboards but not all have an option in the setup called Hardware Monitor which indicates among other data the temperature of the CPU and motherboard. This option is usually depending on the BIOS that you have, in section Power, Integrated Periferical or Advanced But can also be a separate section. This option is useful, but we have to reboot and enter the setup, which shows the temperature that is in any case for the computer to sleep. Check and reply.

ASUS motherboards incorporate a utility called ASUS Probe that shows us this information, and may even stop the resident program, setting the options you want to show us on screen. You can also use this function to hardware diagnostic programs such as Everest and the like, which in its ''free'' temperature provide this information at least the processor and system. check that and reply.
